(COTG) has been hosting a Christmas Block Party every year for the past 20 years (cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to pandemic rules). This year, the 23nd Annual Christmas Block Party is being held on Sunday, December 17, 2023. It is free for the homeless and shelter kids of Maui with their family. Due to recent devastation in the August Maui fires, we anticipate many more families joining us this year. Individuals, businesses, bike, and car clubs have been instrumental in gathering donations and toys so that every child receives a gift. A delicious catered holiday lunch is also provided by the church, so that the children and their families can enjoy a hot meal. If you feel it in your heart to donate time, gifts or financial assistance please use the enclosed form on the flier and mail back to us (or bring with you when you drop off donations) or call President Joe Pluta at 808-661-7990. Rotary Club of Lahaina will sponsor our delicious meal at this event. If you know someone that would benefit from this event, please invite them to attend. Free entertainment, lunch, gifts for the children – fun and fellowship for children and their family. Together we all come together to bring a smile to the children who otherwise would not have a Christmas meal or celebration.
